employees think companies have a long way to go on DEI

If employees were to give employers a grade on diversity, equity, and inclusion, overwhelmingly they’d land on a C average. See where parents think employers can improve.

How inclusive and equitable are your employer-provided benefits?
Overall, only 39% of employees think their employer benefits are truly diverse, equitable, and equitable.

Which of the following things would you like to see your employer engage in to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion?
There are many places employers can improve.
  1. Employees are looking for their organizations to hire diverse talent and provide relevant benefits — for example, family building benefits for LGBTQ+ employees.
  2. They are also looking for benefits that serve every kind of path to parenthood
  3. Many also called for programs that support populations more at risk for maternal mortality issues, like Black mothers.
